NEW SHERWOOD | PRIMARY BATHROOM REMODEL

This bathroom was built by a builder for their home in the early 2000s. The style left was a popular style in the late 90s and early 2000s but it left much to be desired by the current homeowners. It was very heavy visually and made a large space feel small and closed off, additionally there was a bad problem with moisture build up causing the homeowners constant work to prevent a bigger problem.

This was a fairly in depth renovation taken down to the studs in many parts. We worked with the designer Bethanye of Bethanye Carrigan Designs to come up with a clean, modern and inspiration bathroom for the homeowners. Together we worked through challenges that came up both aesthetically with design and from the construction side ensuring a well executed project.

The visually heavy vanity, tub deck and columns were removed. The wall to wall vanity mirrors which one would naturally think would make the room feel bigger but rarely do they have that effect.

For this bathroom we installed lots of visually appealing details — hexagonal floors, the beautiful blue/green wall tile, simple but elegant wood vanity, high end quartz countertops, and one of my favorite shower floor tile.
