ARDMORE | PRIMARY BATHROOM REMODEL
This bathroom had been part of an addition on a house flip in Ardmore. It seemed the focus had been elsewhere in the house with high quality materials, finishes, and overall planning. The bathroom was functional, yes, but for a bathroom used daily it had its quirks and seemed lacking.
This was an extensive renovation taken down to the studs and layout reimagined. There were two requirements for the renovation, the first was to add natural light because the bathroom was dark. The second was make the shower bigger helping to better utilize the large space this bathroom had.
The door to the primary was moved from a side wall to a diagonal wall in the vaulted ceiling primary. At the diagonal wall there was a large void next to the closet stealing even more space from the bathroom. Moving the door also allowed more wall space in the primary to put longer furniture.
For this bathroom we installed all the luxuries — heated floors, custom wood vanity, high end quartz countertops, large format tile in the shower.
